Layers of mountains
mesmerizing in their misty mystique
Sit there lazy and purposeless
Home and nourishment to much life
But stoic in purposeless stillness

That blast of a presence
Like of the emperor
Above all flora and fauna

On a foundation of compassion and nourishment
For all living under your green shadows
Like the eternal mother

Rising to those high and tough peaks
Saturated with undisputed silences
Like the timeless unknowable
